Key (ignition/door locks)

The key may have a built-in light bulb.

By pressing on the middle of the key head (along the arrow in Fig. 2), you turn on the backlight. Replacing the battery or lamp of the key Transporter T4

♦ Insert a coin into the slot on the side of the key head (arrow 2 in Fig. 2) and detach the top of the head.
♦ Replace battery or lamp. Spare batteries and bulbs are available from a VW dealer.
