Removal and installation of glass of a forward door
Removal
♦ Remove the decorative panel on the Transporter T4 .
♦ Place the power window handle on the axle and slide the window down as far as it will go.
♦ Remove the bolts (1) securing the glass bracket to the power window rod.
♦ Turn the glass in the opening (see fig. 484) and remove it from the door upwards.

Installation
♦ Insert the glass inside the door (fig. 484).
♦ Turn the glass bracket onto the power window rod, do not tighten the bolts yet.
♦ Raise the window up to the stop and tighten the bolts (1) to 7 Nm.
