Single folding seats
♦ To raise the lower seat cushion of the Volkswagen Transporter T4, pull the handle (1) (see Fig. 48) and raise the seat cushion until it locks into place.

♦ To lower the lower seat cushion, pull the handle (1) and lower the seat cushion until it locks into place.
Reclining seat (middle row)
The backrest of the single reclining seat near the middle row of seats can be folded down to provide access to the rear seats.

♦ Unlock the seatback and tilt it forward (see fig. 49).
