Replacing the engine oil cooler

the Transporter T4 engine oil cooler is installed between the filter bracket and the filter element (see figs. 135 and 136). The radiator can be removed after removing the filter element and disconnecting the cooling system hoses. To do this, unscrew the nut (7 and 18) located below. An o-ring is located between the filter bracket and the radiator. When installing the radiator, tighten the nut to 25 Nm.
