Peugeot 407 - the rising sun of France

Unfortunately, there are no all-wheel drive "native" Peugeot on the roads yet.
Basically, such products are produced by the "court" company Dangel. specializing in the conversion of conventional Peugeot to all-wheel drive. But, most likely, in the near future there will be a new 406th model "a la" jeep. Traditional mounted attributes - overhead panels, bumpers - give out that the car belongs to urban, but SUVs. It is difficult to talk about cross-country ability - there is no car yet, but, according to the developers, it will be able to compete with similar Volvo and Subaru. The prospects for further cooperation between Peugeot and Dangel are not yet clear, but the future of all-wheel drive cars is already looming. Gone are the days when the Japanese bit by bit collected technical knowledge in Europe and America. Now many American and European manufacturers are bowing in the direction of the Land of the Rising Sun. The PSA concern, which includes Peugeot, has already signed a contract with Mitsubishi to use its developments in the field of direct fuel injection (GDI), and in the near future a contract will be signed with Fuji Heavy (this concern includes Subaru) regarding all-wheel drive technologies. So, perhaps future Peugeot cars will have Subaru's four-wheel drive, and Mitsubishi's fuel injection.
