Installing the clutch basket
Clutch basket is installed in reverse order.
When installing the clutch, the following guidelines must be strictly adhered to: If you are installing an old clutch basket, you must match the marks made by the punch before dismantling, otherwise the flywheel / clutch pair will not be balanced.
The new basket can be installed in any position. Use a centering rod to align the clutch disc with the transmission input shaft. It must have a splined surface corresponding to the front surface of the clutch disc and a neck with the diameter of the input shaft bearing hole. For this purpose, it is convenient to use the old input shaft (see Fig. 323).

♦ Tighten the clutch bolts evenly and crosswise to 25 Nm. The flywheel must be locked while tightening the T4 clutch basket bolts.
