Rice. 402 Fixing the lower part of the shock absorber while unscrewing the lower bolt
The rear shock absorber is fixed from below in an original way.
For its fastening, a bolt is screwed perpendicularly into the shock absorber. During removal, use Fig. 403 and proceed as follows: Before the rear of the vehicle is raised, loosen the bolt just enough to fit the socket wrench with socket wrench and extension. Do not unscrew the bolt completely yet.

♦ Raise the rear of the vehicle and place on stands.
Place a jack under the trailing arm and raise the arm until the stem is fully seated in the shock absorber. ♦ Remove the mounting bolt from the bottom of the shock absorber.
If the shock absorber will scroll, then it must be held with a flat key (see Fig. 402). ♦ Remove the shaped washer (pad).
The flange of the washer is directed towards the rubber bushing and, during assembly, the washer must be laid in the same way. ♦ Remove the bottom rubber bush (6, fig. 403).
♦ Remove the bolt (1) securing the shock absorber from above.
♦ Slowly lower the jack until the shock absorber is released from the upper and lower mountings, and then remove the shock absorber.
♦ Remove the top rubber bush (2).
♦ Check the shock absorber for correct operation. The shock absorber is installed in the reverse order. Replace both rubber bushings if necessary. The bolt securing the shock absorber from below, tighten with a torque of 45 Nm. If necessary, stop the shock absorber from rotating. Use a torque wrench to tighten. The bolt securing the shock absorber from above, tighten only after the car is removed from the stands. The tightening torque is 100 Nm.
